RURAL (RD) DELIVERIES TO ALL AREAS – usually take 1 – 2 working days longer than deliveries to urban areas as deliveries are passed to a second rural delivery driver.

FREQUENTLY ASKED DELIVERY QUESTIONS:

CAN I REQUEST A SPECIFIC DELIVERY DATE?

Yes, you will be given the opportunity to request a specific delivery date during checkout – we will do our best to deliver on this day. We deliver weekdays and Saturday in Auckland. There are no Saturday deliveries available out of Auckland. Sunday delivery is not available.

Deliveries out of Auckland (including all rural deliveries) often have a delivery window of more than one day. Where time allows we will dispatch early in case delivery takes the full delivery timeframe. Consequently, some parcels out of Auckland may arrive a day or two earlier than requested. We consider this a better option than risking late delivery if a gift is delayed in transit.

If the delivery date requested does not meet our minimum delivery timeframes it will be delivered later than requested (please refer above)

CAN I REQUEST A SPECIFIC DELIVERY TIME?

Auckland deliveries: we cannot guarantee specific delivery times. Our courier operates two delivery runs per day. Deliveries typically arrive: late morning – early afternoon (approximately 11:00am – 2:00pm) or late afternoon (approximately 3:00pm – 6:00pm). For orders received 24 hours or more in advance, we can target either of these delivery runs – but cannot guarantee a specific time within them. Gifts ordered on the day of delivery will be dispatched on the next delivery run that day that our schedule allows (as all gifts are made to order).

Deliveries out of Auckland: we cannot guarantee a specific delivery time. Out of Auckland deliveries are made by Fastway Couriers and are delivered right through the day, until late afternoon, dependent on the courier’s schedule in that area.

IS THERE A SAME DAY DELIVERY SERVICE FOR AUCKLAND?

Yes, for deliveries in the Auckland Metro area (between Torbay and Papakura; Howick and Henderson). We accept orders for same day delivery up until 10:00am. weekdays and 8:00am. on Saturdays. Rural Auckland deliveries may take 1 – 2 days longer as our same day fragile courier does not service these areas.

No, there is no same day delivery service out of Auckland.

We deliver in the Auckland Metro area (Torbay to Papakura; Henderson to Howick) on a Saturday for orders received before 8am. Saturday. We do not offer a Saturday delivery service out of Auckland as we have found this service to be unreliable. Bestow does not deliver on a Sunday.

DO YOU OFFER AN EXPRESS DELIVERY SERVICE?

Deliveries to North Island address (excluding rural deliveries) received by 1pm. weekdays are generally delivered next working day. Orders placed online are sent on this service.

Overnight delivery to South island addresses (excluding rural deliveries) is available upon request for orders received by 1pm. weekdays. This service delivers next working day. Please telephone our office for pricing as costs differ according to the size of the item being sent. Prices start at $30.00.

Next day delivery is not available to rural addresses.

MY DELIVERY ADDRESS IS RURAL (RD), WHAT DO I NEED TO KNOW ?

Rural deliveries (all deliveries with an RD) take 1 – 2 working days longer than standard deliveries to cities and towns, this is because rural deliveries are passed to a second rural courier. We cannot guarantee an exact delivery date for rural deliveries as rural post does not service these areas every day. Please factor in the extra time needed when placing your order for a rural delivery and provide us with a phone number for recipients. There is no express (overnight delivery) available to rural areas.

WHAT DOES AN ORDER STATUS OF PROCESSING OR COMPLETE MEAN?

Processing: We have received your order successfully and we have scheduled the gift to be made to order and delivered on your required delivery date. (The gift has not yet been dispatched from our premises).

Complete: Your gift has been dispatched from our premises for delivery.

HOW DO I KNOW IF MY GIFT HAS BEEN DISPATCHED?

You will be sent an e-mail confirming your gift was dispatched and the status displayed on your order will show ‘Complete’. Upon request, we are also able to track and trace all gifts out of Auckland to confirm delivery.

WHAT DO I NEED TO CONSIDER WHEN SENDING TO AN APARTMENT?

It can often be difficult to gain access to, or leave gifts at, apartment buildings if the recipient is not home. If organising delivery to an apartment please ensure there will be someone home to receive the gift or check whether there is an office at the apartment complex that receives deliveries and provide a telephone number for the recipient. Alternatively consider having the gift delivered to their workplace.

WHAT INFORMATION DO YOU REQUIRE FOR HOSPITAL DELIVERIES?

Please confirm the recipient has not been discharged from hospital before placing your order. Please ensure you provide us with the ward number and the correct name the recipient has been admitted to hospital under. If you are unsure whether the recipient is still in hospital it is advisable to have the gift delivered to their home address.

WHAT HAPPENS IF I HAVE PROVIDED AN INCORRECT ADDRESS ON MY ORDER?

Please contact us immediately with the correct address. If the gift has been dispatched (but not yet delivered) we MAY be able to intercept the gift and redirect for you – a second delivery fee may be charged in these cases. We do not offer refunds on gifts not received because an incorrect delivery address has been provided.

DO YOU DELIVER TO POST OFFICE (PO) BOXES?

No, we do not usually deliver to post boxes unless recipients in rural areas have an arrangement with their local post office to hold parcels for them. If possible please provide us with a street address for delivery of your parcel and a phone number for the recipient.

DO YOU DELIVER OUTSIDE OF NEW ZEALAND?

No, we do not currently ship our gifts internationally.
